SNELLA holds substantive meetings in the fall and spring of each year. They are usually a few hours long and are held in a member’s workplace. Occasionally there will be a day-long meeting on a specific topic, such as animal law. Specifics depend on the topic and both speaker and logistical availability.
But that’s not all! We are also very social folks and get together over meals. Our holiday party is held in January, when life is less hectic and it’s easier to find a space to gather. We also meet in the spring for our end of year banquet.
We meet one additional time during the year: at the AALL annual meeting in a joint lunch with the Law Librarians of New England (LLNE). Each chapter has a short business meeting and passing of the gavel to a new president, while we share food and conversation with our fellow law librarians.
Information about the next meeting will be posted when available.
