About

The Southern New England Law Librarians’ Association (SNELLA) was founded in 1978 as a chapter of the American Association of Law Libraries. We are a not-for-profit organization of law library personnel from Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Southern Massachusetts.

Our members work in law libraries serving law firms, corporate legal departments, not-for-profit organizations, academic institutions, and federal and state governments, including judicial, legislative, and administrative agencies. We also work for publishers and other information vendors and as freelance consultants.
