SNELLA Website & List Changes

Please update your bookmark for SNELLA to our new address:  http://snella.info .  The one linked from AALLNET will be changed hopefully today.

The new site allow more flexibility and easier updating (less work for me!).  I think it’s much cleaner and easier to use and hope you like it.   Let me know if you spot any broken links, outdated info, or know of something that should be added – and if you have anything for the blog, send that, too.

One thing that is NOT on the website is our membership directory.  President Camilla Tubbs and I decided it needed to be pulled because it was hopelessly out of date.  We will work out a better way to gather the directory information during the membership renewal process.

Another change is that the SNELLA discussion list is now closed.  This means that anyone who wants to join needs to be a SNELLA member, not just an interested person, and will need to contact me directly about being added.  AALL (which hosts the list) required this change for all chapters based on some problems that came up on another chapter’s list.

Everyone currently on the list will stay on until March 1, when I will remove anyone who has not renewed their SNELLA membership for 2012.  Lifetime members will continue to stay on, but please let me know who you are so I don’t accidentally take you off.

Let me know if you have any questions or comments.
